Since 2006. Four offices. One backbone.

None of that proves we are the right fit for your business. Only a look at what we have actually built does. It does prove the company existed before this website did, and that the four offices are where the work happens, not a line on a slide.

From software house to full-service

Shoothill started as what the name still suggests: a team of custom software developers who took a specification and built it. That model works, and plenty of businesses only ever need it. It also has a ceiling: a developer who has never sat with your operations team can only build what they were told, and what they were told is rarely the whole picture.

"I'm incredibly proud to lead Shoothill through its transition from a team of custom software developers into a full-service provider"

What we can stand behind

Numbers do not tell you whether we are right for your business, but they do tell you this is not new and not small.

2006

Founded, and still run on the same idea: the people who understand your business are the people who build it.

400+

Businesses we have built and run systems for, across enough sectors that no single template could honestly serve them all.

4

Offices in Shrewsbury, Chester, Telford and London, so there is usually someone close enough to sit in the room with you.

How we train for a role the market does not supply

You cannot recruit someone who already understands your business and can already build for it. That combination barely exists to hire, so we train for it deliberately rather than hoping it turns up in an application.

Placement years

Industrial placements let a student and the business test the fit before either side commits to a career. Low risk on both sides, and real work either way.

Graduate intake from mixed disciplines

We take on graduates who are commercial and numerate as well as those who are technical, because a single-discipline cohort produces a single-shaped consultant. The role needs both halves in one person.

A visible ladder

Analyst, then Consultant, then Implementation Consultant, then Lead. Each step changes what you are trusted to do on your own, not just the title on the card.

A written methodology

We call the framework itself a harness for people: the reusable part, meaning the process, the templates and the checks, is built once, so the individual spends their judgement on what actually needs it, rather than rebuilding the scaffolding every time.

Group structure

Shoothill trades through the registered companies below. None of that is a mystery; it is simply which company does the work you are paying for.
